Physical Therapist - PT (5 hours per week)

We are looking for a talented Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team for the school year.

• Part-time | On-site PT
• 10 hours per week
• Grade levels: Kindergarten to 8th Grade.
• Caseload: About 7 students (however case load may change)
• Will work in multiple locations/schools

Hourly Rate Range: $40.00-$65.00 per hour

Responsibilities would include:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ motor function, mobility, and physical therapy needs.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans.
• Provide direct physical therapy services to improve gross motor skills, posture, balance, coordination, and mobility.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to integrate therapy strategies into the school environment.
• Recommend and implement adaptive equipment, positioning strategies, and classroom modifications.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and IDEA guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Train and support teachers and staff on movement strategies, mobility support, and accessibility accommodations.

Required Qualifications:

• Doctorate (DPT) or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist License
• Current CPR certification
• Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
