About This Role:
- Manage all aspects of user and license administration including new user setup, deactivation, roles, profiles, permission sets, public groups, OWD, and sharing rules
- Own Salesforce configuration including Flows, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports
- Identify and gather requirements, translating them into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
- Identify unused or underutilized platform features and recommend improvements
- Create and maintain a platform roadmap, define priorities, and liaise with stakeholders
- Own communication of platform changes to end users and stakeholders
- Implement data quality rules and automation to improve overall Salesforce data integrity
- Manage sandbox environments, data hygiene, and basic release management including change sets
- Proactive system maintenance including security reviews, release updates, and health checks
- Provide day-to-day end-user support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Deliver new user onboarding and ongoing training to drive and monitor user adoption
- Manage and support integrated applications including Marketing Cloud/Pardot
- Work closely with stakeholders and business analysts to document, implement, and optimize system requirements
- Maintain accurate technical documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guides
- Work iteratively within a collaborative Agile team managing tasks and help tickets in a fast-paced environment
The Ideal Candidate for This Role:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or other technology related field or equivalent years of experience
- 5+ years’ experience with OOP development including Java, Apex, and/or C#.
- 5+ years’ experience with designing and implementing REST APIs for distributed applications
- 3+ years’ experience with Salesforce Administration
- Experience and knowledge designing and implementing microservices, with a focus on applying API integration patterns for scale and reuse.
- Experience with converting web services from SOAP to RESTful
- Working knowledge of OpenAPI Spec/Swagger
- Experience with API testing automation such as Postman or similar tools.
- Ability to write quality unit, functional, and automated tests
- Experience with testing frameworks: JUnit, Selenium, NUnit, etc.
- Experience using API Security concepts (OAUTH 2.0, Throttling, Certificates, Keys, etc.)
- Experience using Zuul Proxy, AWS API Gateway or other API management solutions.
- Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle, SQLServer)
- Working knowledge of Test-Driven and Behavior-Driven Development
- Experience with Git as a version control system, in conjunction with solutions such as Bitbucket, GitHub or GitLab
