JOB SUMMARY
This role is responsible for overseeing and developing Highmark's producer relationships throughout the Highmark footprint. It involves leading a team to drive successful partnerships through strategic planning, effective producer engagement, effective channel management, and streamlined administrative processes. Additionally, this position includes the administration and oversight of ICHRA programs. This includes the managing relationships with ICHRA third-party administrators and producers to ensure seamless program execution and compliance. Additionally, this leader will make recommendations on producer incentives and manage these programs throughout the year.
This is a Hybrid based role that can be based around any of our Highmark locations.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform management responsibilities to include but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity. Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.
Strategy development to drive growth through producer channels by positioning Highmark as a leading partner to key Producers. This also includes coordinating webinars and/or events as it relates to Highmark strategies and new market initiatives. Create opportunities for producers to access Highmark resources (e.g., Sr. Leadership, SMEs). This strategy development will now also encompass the integration and promotion of ICHRA offerings through producer channels.
Producer relationship management to include driving positive relationships with top brokers/producers, putting together a strategy for incentive programs as well as managing escalated producer service issues. This will extend to fostering strong relationships with producers specifically for ICHRA program distribution and support, ensuring they are well-equipped to present and manage ICHRA solutions.
Responsible for associated technical support related to appointments and producer compensation. Ensure compliance with all state and federal requirements regarding producer administration through contract enforcements. This responsibility now includes oversight of ICHRA administration functions, such as managing the engagement and performance of ICHRA third-party administrators, ensuring their adherence to Highmark's standards and regulatory requirements. It also encompasses ensuring timely support for producers with technical aspects of ICHRA platforms both internally and externally.

Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree

Required
7 years in the Healthcare Industry OR in Sales & Management of Producer Relationships (includes other areas such as business development or account management)
