Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed. </span></p> <p> </p> <p> </p><p> </p> <p><strong>What you`ll do:</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a dynamic DevOps Engineer to join our digital platforms team.  You will work with a team responsible for managing all systems and operations for our cloud-based web solutions.    You will work with a globally distributed and diverse team whose mission is to delivery highly available world-class web solutions.   We run SAP.com. </p> <p>Your core responsibilities will be:</p> <ul> <li>Be a core DevOps engineer responsible for operational delivery of our cloud-based platforms.</li> <li>Collaborate with other technology teams and business partners as needed</li> <li>Provide day-to-day support of software, standard changes and production fixes through the change control process</li> <li>Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues</li> <li>Develop, monitor, improve automation at all levels of the DevOps processes</li> <li>Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance</li> <li>Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>You will report to the head of development &amp; engineering for Digital Platforms within the Demand Generation organization of Corporate Processes and Information Technology (CP&amp;IT).   You will work closely with our Digital Platforms Senior System Engineer and other technologists. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What you bring:</strong></p> <p>You bring a desire to learn, to share, to be impactful.   You will strengthen this team with your deep technical knowledge and work alongside other technical experts to deliver the best digital experience for our customers.</p> <p>You will work to make our system operations as efficient as possible.   We strive for 100% availability across our entire landscape.</p> <p>You bring an attitude that is willing to take on all challenges, puts team first, and is open to new ideas including looking for new ways to utilize agentic AI to further improve system operations.</p> <p>You will be the go-to person on how all of our systems work and help design our landscapes for the future. </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Core job requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum five years of experience as a DevOps/web/cloud system engineer.</li> <li>Deep experience with the entire web development lifecycle. </li> <li>Background in web content management </li> <li>Solid understanding of web security and compliance</li> <li>Excellent background in managing DevOps CI/CD environment from the repository level to production release.</li> <li>Experience working with all layers of the network stack from global traffic management down to content-delivery network to firewalls to cache.</li> <li>Experience working with Akamai and/or CloudFlare for Content Delivery and Platform Security.</li> <li>Proficient communicating in English; secondary language is a plus but not required</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of Generative AI, Agentic AI, foundational models, LLMs, and other AI technologies.</li> <li>Willingness to learn more technical knowledge.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Meet your team:</strong></p> <p>Our team is made up of some of the best technologists in the field all with a desire to deliver world class web solutions.  We are a delivery unit; we spend more time coding than building slides.    We love to research new technologies especially agentic AI, to innovate, and to look at new ways to amaze our customers.  </p> <p>We make each other better by sharing knowledge and challenging each other as technology evolves and the team matures.</p><p> </p> <p><strong><span>Bring out your best</span></strong><span><br/>SAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
