Job Description
Visa Acceptance Solutions, a business unit of Visa Inc., is seeking an experienced Product Management Director for its Funding Payment and Payouts Service. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the future of our service, working closely with various stakeholders to create payment experiences for our acquirers, merchants, and fintech companies.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
Develop a strategic roadmap for the creation and execution of the Payout product and potential ancillary products, taking into consideration the unique needs of each customer cohort. Triage additions or changes to the roadmap as needed.
Act as a thought leader in developing the overall Payout Product vision, business plans, and development roadmap, leveraging your deep industry knowledge.
Prepare and present regular updates to the senior leadership team, managing organizational expectations regarding product rollouts.
Possess deep industry knowledge and experience with Money Movement Products and Services. This includes understanding the nuances of account funding transactions (AFT) and original credit transactions (OCT).
Understand and navigate the distinct roles that clients - Acquirers, Merchants, and Fintech companies - play in the payment value chain, and how these roles influence the design and execution of the product.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, pain points, and opportunities, and translate these learnings into product features.
Engage with key stakeholders, both internal and external, identifying and recommending projects that will drive growth.
Define the business case for funding, build internal support, design the execution roadmap, and establish success metrics.
Communicate the commercialization roadmap effectively across the organization.
Provide analytical insight and assistance to Visa Sales with strategies to drive merchant revenues and transaction growth.
Develop guides and best practice tools for clients and partners to use during commercialization and to support ongoing usage.
Develop and manage a business scorecard to track product performance and progress towards objectives.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
• Proven experience as a Product Management leader, from Vision/Strategy formulation to GTM execution, with a track record of defining and launching successful products.
• Experience in defining and mapping customer journeys, understanding key touchpoints and opportunities for product integration and enhancement.
• Deep understanding of common money movement use cases in the fintech industry, and the ability to translate these use cases into product requirements and features.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with teams like engineering, design, and sales to bring a product to market.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and strategic planning abilities. Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple concurrent projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Able to effectively convey product value and build consensus among internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to balance technical and business considerations in decision making. Able to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas
