We also deliver weather, hydrology, climate and market analysis across Statkraft. </p><p>Digitalisation Energy Management (MED) unit supports the Energy Management (ME) business owners managing the business requirements for the IT systems on behalf of ME, with a professional interface towards IT. Furthermore, the unit supports the commercial energy management process with automation, analysis, structuring and pricing, and by providing an algorithmic trading infrastructure. MED creates significant value for Statkraft and its customers by delivering next generation digital solutions in Energy Management. The unit’s responsibility requires an in-depth understanding of the business processes and system landscape in ME.    </p><p>The EM Systems Continent &amp; MA Platform (MEDC) team delivers Product Ownership, development and improvements of systems supporting the Energy Management of Continental Market Access and Origination Business as well as 3rd party flex assets.  </p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><strong>For our office in Düsseldorf we are currently looking to hire a (Interim) Head of Energy Management Systems Continent &amp; Market Access Platform </strong>as a maternity leave replacement for a period of 1 year. </p><p>As (Interim) Teamlead / Head of EM Systems Continent &amp; MA Platform you will</p><ul><li><p>Lead and develop the team continuously encouraging innovation. This high-performing, multi-national team currently consists of 6 expert employees who are Product Owners of Virtual Power Plant (VPP), PixOS and EVA Platform. They work on the processes to continuously develop, optimise and increasingly align across the different geographies and activities, while adhering to the regulations in information security. Product Owners manage the relationship with internal IT teams and external vendors. </p></li><li><p>Ensure that the MEDC owned products, i.e., Virtual Power Plant (VPP), intermittent production Forecasting, PixOS and EVA Platform as well as all related processes are continuously developed, optimised and increasingly aligned across the different geographies and activities, while adhering to the regulations around information security </p></li><li><p>Drive the Unity Platform Roadmap aligned with business strategy, in partnership with Stakeholders and involved business teams </p></li><li><p>Management and Communication the diverse needs of stakeholders across the business; apply an understanding of emerging technologies and develop and deliver on the roadmap for MEDC owned systems    </p></li><li><p>Ensure IT resources are utilized efficiently and according to ME prioritised Roadmap items </p></li><li><p>Ensure 3rd party vendor relationship is managed  </p></li><li><p>Take department budget responsibility - ensure the projects are delivered according to time, quality and budget </p></li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li><p>University degree in engineering, computer science, natural sciences or business </p></li><li><p>You already gained at least 1-3 years of experience in leading a team successfully.
