Job Summary:
Assist 1st class mechanics in all phases of Gas Measurement/ Field Proving/Instrument Calibrations/Differential Meter Testing/Spin Testing/Inventory of Gas Measurement Equipment GMAS Monitoring
Representative Duties and Responsibilities:
• Adheres to all Company safety practices, works closely and effectively with other personnel and uses good judgment to ensure safe and efficient operations while striving to meet department goals and objectives.
• Must possess the ability to operate equipment such as Company Van / Field Prover/ Differential Tester/ Toughbook Computer for work Management.
• Must have good interpersonal skills in order to work closely with others as well as alone and demonstrate the ability to follow verbal and written directions. Must possess good verbal communication skills resulting in the effective transfer of information.
• Performs Data Entry on Toughbook.
• Employees are to arrive at work, fully prepared for work, at their respective workstation, by their designated shift start time.
•Employees basic work schedule is Monday – Friday; 6:00AM – 2:30PM.
• Assists with inventory activities with the ability to perform basic inventory processes.
• Performs maintenance duties and any other tasks assigned by supervision.
This is a Union position - starting hourly rate is $23.54.
Education and Experience:
Required:
• High school diploma or GED
• Basic technical knowledge
• Pass the Company’s DOT physical examination
• Ability to work overtime on an as-needed basis

Equivalent academic education and experience

• Possess or be capable of learning basic computer skills

• Valid driver’s license

• Must be in good physical condition, requires working in hot and cold conditions
• Ability to remove equipment weighing up to 40 pounds out of van.
