WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing organization. In this role, you will operate as a subject matter expert and strategic partner to the FP&A team, driving key initiatives across forecasting, financial close, cross-functional planning, and performance reporting. You will lead workstreams that improve the efficiency and accuracy of our planning processes, collaborate with leaders across Finance and the business, and help scale the broader FP&A function.

This position requires strong financial and operational acumen, a deep understanding of FP&A best practices in Tech/SaaS, and the ability to influence decision-making through insights and process leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead budgeting and forecasting cycles for FP&A, working cross-functionally to ensure alignment across business units and Finance leadership
  • Drive variance analysis and performance reporting against budget, forecast, and strategic targets. Provide proactive insights and trend analysis that inform executive decision-making
  • Partner with operations and functional leads to continuously improve the accuracy, cadence, and efficiency of monthly close, planning, and reporting processes
  • Support FP&A team members, sharing expertise, reviewing outputs, and helping build the team’s overall analytical and modeling capabilities
  • Collaborate with Finance leadership to align priorities and ensure successful execution of strategic and operational initiatives

WHO YOU ARE

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A or a related Finance function, ideally in a high-growth Tech or SaaS environment
  • Expert-level financial modeling skills and fluency with Excel; experience with planning and ERP tools like Adaptive Insights, Workday, Coupa, and NetSuite is a plus
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • A strategic, analytical thinker with the ability to connect the dots between financial data and business impact
  • A collaborative teammate and trusted partner who can influence others, build relationships across levels, and communicate insights with clarity
  • Passionate about continuous improvement, and fostering a diverse and inclusive team environment

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $100,400 and $111,600/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $111,600 and $116,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
