SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST
Job Summary: The senior financial analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing strategic recommendations to management. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis, to senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop financial models to evaluate business initiatives, investment opportunities, and cost-saving strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and insights, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in financial performance and recommend actions to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, working closely with department heads to understand and validate financial assumptions.
- Participate in ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as required, providing analytical support and guidance to achieve desired outcomes.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial analysis, incorporating relevant insights into business strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
- Proven experience as a financial analyst, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial metrics, and performance indicators.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business performance and value creation.
