About the role

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Progressively responsible work experience which demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of NAF human resources. Managerial experience which includes leading a team or department in developing long-term strategic HR plans, overseeing full-life cycle personnel administration, and advising senior leadership. Strong written and oral communication In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Experience coordinating policies with other Department of War agencies and entities like the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) to ensure standardization and compliance. Experience directing, planning, and executing a comprehensive, agency-wide Human Resources program (preferably for NAF employees) and/or Experience within the past 2 years serving as the Chief of a Human Resources Office with responsibility for NAF employees or as a Chief or Human Resources Specialist at a region, HQ, or comparable level within the Department of War or its components.
