Description
The Department of Internal Medicine/Section of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a qualified candidate to join our faculty, as the Director of Complex and High-Risk PCI (CHIP) Program providing complex coronary interventions including chronic total occlusions. The incoming faculty member will be part of the Interventional Cardiology Program and will be expected to bring leadership skills to lead and expand the CHIP/CTO program at Yale. In addition, they will be expected to have an active role in the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Programs, and to contribute to the medical education and training efforts in the Section of Cardiovascular Medicine.
Qualifications
Successful candidates must be fellowship trained in cardiovascular medicine and Board Certified. Candidates must meet criteria for appointment as an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Medicine in the Clinician Educator Scholar Track (CES). Candidates should have established clinical excellence in complex coronary interventions including chronic total occlusions and have demonstrated academic scholarship with prior experience in leading clinical trials. Completion of a dedicated CHIP/CTO fellowship or equivalent clinical expertise is a requirement.
