Senior Solution Design Architect - Marketing Automation

Allergan Data Labs is on a mission to transform the Allergan Aesthetics beauty business at AbbVie, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. Our iconic brands include BOTOX® Cosmetic, CoolSculpting®, JUVÉDERM® and more.

Our team has been tasked with rebuilding the Allergan Aesthetics internal and provider based marketing technology platforms. These platforms, used by our team and over 20,000 health care providers, support engagement with over 6 million consumers. We’re looking for a Senior Solution Design Architect, Marketing Automation (Marketing Technology) who is interested in working within a startup oriented environment while having the backing of a large company. ‍As the Senior Solution Design Architect, Marketing Automation (Marketing Technology), you will report to the Head of Marketing Technology and will work to drive clarity and workflow efficiencies for our marketing technology engineering program, leadership and outside stakeholders.

 

You Will

• Serve as the subject matter expert for marketing automation within the marketing technology stack

• Define, establish, and enforce standards and best practices for marketing automation within the marketing technology platform to be leveraged by major stakeholders in marketing technology, marketing, personalization, product, and customer success

• Solve complex problems by designing or modifying marketing technology architecture to support marketing automation involving multiple channels, such as designing high efficiency lead generation programs or lifecycle management

• Design and maintain a best in class marketing technology stack spanning both B2B and B2C to support marketing automation business initiatives and strategies, anchored around CDP (Segment)

• Collaborate and develop plans with cross-functional project teams through agreed upon phases of project from requirements definition, customization, testing, training and rollout in an understandable way for stakeholders and partners

• Contribute to our thought leadership and tribal knowledge by developing best practices, sharing your knowledge in team sessions, and maintaining thorough documentation

• Understanding the way in which different parts of the business model work together, including operating systems and application architectures.

• Impacts marketing technology decisions at the marketing technology team level

 

Required Experience & Skills

• 3 or more years of experience in implementing and managing marketing automation solutions and marketing technology integrations

• Strong interest in driving efficiency and smooth, scalable operations across teams and marketing efforts

• Comfortable with handling multiple technical integrations

• Preference for those who have a strong technical background within software or data engineering functions or close working proximity to such

• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating enterprise business processes with technology skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with many different personality types across our cross functional teams
