Arthrex is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. Arthrex is actively seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to primarily support the Workforce Time & Attendance Management software system for North America as well as its integration to SAP HCM for payroll processing.   The Analyst will be responsible to analyze, design, configure, test, and maintain the organization’s time management applications by engaging with HR and employees in order to deliver technical support and system/process improvements.  Excellent communications and strong stakeholder management skills, along with the application-specific technical expertise and highly tuned analytical skills will be essential for this position. Join our talented team at a global medical device company focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™.

 

Specialized Skills

• Experience with Workforce Software (time and attendance) or equivalent software is required.
• Experience with installing, maintaining, and upgrading time clock hardware is required.
• Experience in functional and technical support of time and attendance processing for U.S. workforce populations is required; processing for Canadian and Mexico workforce is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of time regulations expected
• Knowledge of Workforce Software Scripting language is preferred
• Experience with Crystal Reports or a reporting tool equivalent is preferred
• Experience with integration of a Time Management system to SAP HCM (ECC EP8) on-prem Payroll is preferred.
• Experience with SAP HCM Organization Management and Personnel Administration (OM/PA) is preferred.
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central is preferred.
• Experience with Jira service management is an advantage
• In depth knowledge of several HR business functions, besides time management, is preferred.
• Previous involvement in the deployment or optimization of an HR Time Management system is a plus

• Ability to work comfortably at all levels within the organization up to the senior management level

 

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5 + years of relevant work experience required

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2 and 3 on-call coverage support.
• Obtain a deep understanding of relevant business area(s) and business processes to be able to recommend solutions and build high-quality requirements.
• Shape business requirements by making recommendations and suggesting alternatives to proposed solutions.
• Participate in Application Analysis, Configuration, Testing, Management, and Maintenance in an Enterprise environment, including (where applicable):
• Access administration and user onboarding.
• Issue resolution, patching, and performance monitoring.

• • Configure and maintain integrations and automation between applications using Application Programming Interfaces (API) and connectors.

• Reliability, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Monitor system logs for unusual activity and escalate or makes recommendations for resolution.
• Participate in infrastructure projects to provide application specifications and requirements, as well as operational, run book, and capacity planning information.
• Work with IT infrastructure and facilities teams on time clock placement and installation plans.
