As a Senior Solution Architect in Revenue Cycle, you will guide during client engagement to deliver workflow and solution design for Revenue Cycle application support for five acute hospitals and two physician medical groups. This includes guiding the client through current workflows, upgrades, system changes and enhancements and ongoing system maintenance. You will have a lead role for the client’s Rev Cycle solution troubleshooting and knowledge transfer. As a member of this team, you will develop and manage relationships with clients to provide appropriate partner concern of issues, solution knowledge and engagement support while also resolving raised problems and issues using solution knowledge and expertise. You will be responsible for resolving client concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance, solution application, perform test script execution and create and participate in unit and integrated testing.
The main responsibilities may include technical design, planning, architecture development, build modifications, and support of Cerner Millennium Revenue Cycle modules – Patient Accounting, Charge Services, HIM, Registration/Scheduling, and Revenue Integrity.
- Evaluating and implementing strategies to improve revenue capture and minimize financial claim denials.
- Working closely with Revenue Cycle management team to optimize the billing and reimbursement processes.
- Collaborating with client Revenue Cycle teams to identify system inefficiencies. Then proposing, testing, and implementing system enhancements to remediate issues.
- Provide technical support to client Revenue Cycle staff in the use of the applications.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the Patient Accounting system through audits and reporting.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations and customizations following IT Department change control processes.
Basic Qualifications
At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
- At least 2 year of healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
- At least 6 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job
- Oracle Cerner Patient Accounting work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or relevant work experience
- At least 3 years of health care information technology work experience
- At least 3 years of patient accounting and charge services work experience
- At least 3 years of Oracle Cerner revenue cycle work experience
Expectations
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned

US: Hiring Range: from $31.97 to $67.93 per hour; from $66,500 to $141,300 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
