Role Summary

MetaPhase Consulting is currently supporting the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) through CISA’s new international program. The goal of CISA International is to work with foreign partners to build U.S. capacity – and strengthen global capacity – to defend against cyber incidents; enhance the security and resilience of critical infrastructure; identify and address the most significant risks to the national critical functions; and provide seamless and secure emergency communications. This contract supports CISA International as it focuses its engagement on four lines of effort that coincide with the approach to international partnerships: (1) operational cooperation, (2) capacity building, (3) stakeholder engagement and outreach, and (4) shaping the policy environment.

What You Will Be Doing

Work with senior level stakeholders to intake complex concepts and solutions and translate them into multiple types of documents, including but not limited to plans, requirements, diagrams, operating procedures, and reports 
Revise written products to ensure they are thorough, concise, and accurate 
Produce high–quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience

Create internal process, structure, and standards to ensure more streamlined material production across the team

What We Need From You (Required)

A minimum of ten or more (10+) years of direct experience in crafting written materials
Gathering information from disparate and complex sources, and translating it into plain language
Applying strong verbal and written communication skills to build relationships, connect people, support team members, and produce high quality products
Developing, editing, and delivering high quality documentation paying strict attention to detail
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Adobe, and other relevant tools with strong research skills
U.S. citizenship required (no exceptions), must be able to obtain DHS Suitability .

B.S. or B.A. with 10 years of experience or 8 years and a Masters
