Lead MES Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary: The Lead MES SME is the subject matter expert of the Manufacturing Execution System.  They are responsible for defining business requirements and recommending a technical approach to meet those needs.  

 

Salary Range: $75,000 to $85,000

 

 

Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree In IT/Business/Engineering or combination of education and minimum 10 years' work experience
• 5+ years MES experience

 

Preferred Skills/Qualifications: 

• Skilled Microsoft Office 365 user
• SAP/S4HANA experience a plus
• Spoken written and English skills

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Creates functional design documents based on functional and technical requirements
• Tests and documents requested code changes
• Ensures stability and functionality of integrations with other systems
• Creation, maintenance, and execution of test scripts
• Provide on-site support to the business during go-live events
• Works to resolve reported issues, find root causes and recommend solutions
• Provide Level 3 Support
• Act as a liaison with the live businesses to engage solution proposals
• Supports multiple projects and BAU activities
