Fairview Hospital has been recognized as one of the top hospitals in Cleveland and Ohio. Here, you will work with and learn from some of our best caregivers, receive endless support and appreciation, and build a rewarding career with one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world.

Our High-Risk Obstetrics and Labor & Delivery Unit provides comprehensive, specialized care for pregnant patients with complex medical, surgical, and fetal conditions. Services span the full continuum of care, including preconception counseling, advanced ultrasonography and fetal imaging, perinatal diagnostics and fetal therapy, high-risk prenatal management, and coordinated labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

Our unit is designed to support the safest possible deliveries for medically and obstetrically complex pregnancies. We collaborate closely with pediatric and adult medical subspecialists, anesthesiology, neonatology, genetic counselors, and dedicated nurse coordinators through specialized interdisciplinary programs. These include maternal cardiac disease in pregnancy, neurovascular disorders in pregnancy, perinatal diabetes management, placenta accreta spectrum and advanced surgical obstetrics, reproductive genetics, and complex fetal care and fetal therapy.

This integrated, team-based approach ensures seamless transition from prenatal planning to delivery and postpartum care, optimizing outcomes for both mother and baby in high-risk clinical situations.
