Dealertrack is hiring for a Courier at our Sacramento, CA facility.
- This is an on-site position, and cannot be done remotely.
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30AM – 4:00PM PST
Under general supervision, the Courier is responsible for:
- Dropping off and picking up items at the DMV
- Bank deposits and inventory drop offs
- Signing for documents, answering paperwork questions, waiting at the DMV while transactions are being processed, attending scheduled appointments at the DMV
- Performing vehicle maintenance, such as fueling, cleaning windows, etc.), routine inspections and identifying standard or unexpected maintenance requirements.
- When the courier returns from the daily route, they will be responsible for filing documents, managing the file storage room, preparing for shipments, shredding, scanning, and any other administrative tasks, as assigned.
Your Role:
- Performs a variety of office support tasks, including answering the telephone, recording, and forwarding messages, answering questions via email, fax or telephone about sales taxes and motor vehicle fees and requirements, and entering data into the computer.
- Follow up phone calls and/or emails to customers may be necessary.
- Safely operate a vehicle and transport paperwork to and from the office in various traffic conditions.
- Adhere to pickup and delivery schedules.
- Perform daily and routine maintenance tasks safely.
- Notify Supervisor of any potential delays in pickup or deliveries.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems, and report to management.
- Appropriately and timely reporting of accidents or other incidents.
- Administrative tasks, such as filing documents, scanning, organizing the file storage room, locating and retrieving files
- Help in other areas when there are no drop offs or pickups which can include, Kofax Scanning, DCN Scanning, Inventory, or other paperwork tasks.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Generally, less than 2 years of experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to perform professionally
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment under time-sensitive requirements

- Knowledge of the DMV titling and registration process
