This role will have responsibility for helping develop and drive the electronic business and data interfaces associated with our growing life and annuity business.  Successful incumbent will partner closely with operational teams, sales colleagues, life and annuity industry colleagues, and key vendor partners.  

Key responsibilities will include: 

• Drive development of industry standard distribution automation solutions across Global Atlantic’s Life and Annuity platforms
• Provide expertise and strategic solutions to operations partners in both life and annuity lines of business.
• Partner with TPAs to define and implement industry standard automation capabilities.
• Provide subject matter expertise on B2B supported services for internal partners and project teams – presenting capabilities, assessing impacts, and strategic recommendations.
• Create effective testing procedures and develop quality assurance standards.
• Design and execute test scenarios for life and annuity platforms.
• Reviewing user stories and preparing test scenarios.
• Conduct regression, functional, system, integration, and smoke testing.
• Analyzing, test results, errors or bugs, and usability.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent education and experience
• 1+ year operational and/or technology experience in the life and annuity insurance industry
• Understanding of insurance industry standard operational technology (e.g. DTCC, ACORD, IRI) and annuity platforms (Ebix/iPipeline/FireLight)
• Understanding of the business and operational workflows related to life insurance and annuity products
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Ability to work independently, as well in a close team environment
• Advanced problem-solving skills and creative thinking
• Excellent communication, organizational and critical thinking skills

Various jurisdictions have passed pay transparency laws that require companies provide salary ranges for any positions for which they are accepting applications. Global Atlantic has offices in Atlanta, Batesville, Bermuda, Boston, Des Moines, Hartford, Indianapolis, and New York City. The base salary range posted below is inclusive of the lowest cost of living geography to the highest in which we have a Global Atlantic office. 

Global Atlantic’s base salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic’s total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range. Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses, long-term incentives (equity), generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k), as well as a company match on your contributions), and sales incentives.  Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Compensation for our more senior positions have a larger component of short-term cash bonus and long-term incentives.  The base salary range for this role is $45,387 to $86,451
