Job Summary: 

A Print and Scan Associate supports the daily operations of copy production, print production, scanning and finishing work.  A Print and Scan Associate ’s primary responsibility is to produce client requested work in the most efficient and profitable manner possible while always exceeding expectations and meeting client deadlines.


Schedule: 

  • Initially 30 hours per week, likely to become full-time

Supervisory/Responsibilities: 

  • None

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Use job tickets to capture project information and determine best means for output. 
  • Set up and operate high speed copiers, printers, large format machines and scanners to produce client requested projects. 
  • Follow all standard operating procedure to ensure outputs are accurate and consistent with other team members. 
  • Manage project deadlines. 
  • Operate finishing equipment which includes but not limited to cutters, laminators, and binding machines.
  • Properly track all job totals so billing can be accurate. 
  • Quality control completed projects to ensure desired results are met, correcting any mistakes as needed. 
  • Communicate project issues with team leader so they can be handled appropriately with sales and service departments.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client materials. 
  • Other production tasks as assigned.  

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Strong time management, communication, and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to operate desktop computer, scanner and other common office equipment including copiers, printers, etc. 
  • Basic math and computer knowledge. 
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and Adobe products preferred.
  • Passion for producing quality work.

Education and Experience: 

  • Minimum of a high school diploma, associate degree preferred. 

Physical Requirements:  

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer or other office equipment. 
  • Prolonged periods of standing in front of office equipment.
  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at times.
