We are seeking a site Quality Manager to oversee and elevate the quality function at our Carroll facility. This role leads all aspects of quality engineering, compliance, inspection, and our quality clinic. As a key member of the site leadership team, you will be responsible for fostering the quality culture, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product and process performance.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the Quality Function for the Carroll site, overseeing quality engineering, compliance, inspection, and quality clinic operations.

  • Influence others outside of own job function regarding policies, practices, and procedures to drive a strong, facility wide quality culture.

  • Resolve quality-related issues in partnership with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams—addressing product design, specifications, materials, tooling, and production operations.

  • Deploy quality improvement initiatives by analyzing defect trends, manufacturing yields, and key process characteristics (KPC) to drive measurable improvements in customer satisfaction and product performance

  • Ensure compliance with QMS standards (AS9100, AS9145, AS13100), FAA regulations, internal audits, and customer-specific requirements.

  • Lead quality planning and implementation of plant-wide projects that improve both product and process quality.

  • Manage teams providing production process analyses, ensuring quality standards are met and making recommendations for quality improvement.

  • Ownership for CAB, MRB, Clinic activities and process robustness for Carroll

  • Direct day-to-day quality deliverables and initiatives, root cause investigation, calibration, tooling inspection, non-conformance control and documentation.

  • Drive product and process improvements ensuring value stream quality metric goals are met, including Escapes, Scrap, Rework, Throughput, Process Certification, ZDP and UPPAP.

  • Organize, promote and lead quality improvement efforts.


Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Working experience within Quality, Manufacturing, or Engineering roles in the aerospace or similar manufacturing industries.

  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred

  • Strong working knowledge of AS9100, AS9145, AS13100, FAA certifications, and Quality Management Systems.

  • Experience with quality tools and methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis, PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and 8D.

  • Certification(s) such as CQE, CQA, Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing highly desirable.
