POSITION SUMMARY:
The Production Lead is responsible for coordinating office activities and classroom set-ups and breakdowns, as well as co-leading a team of associates in partnership with the Production Manager and Assistant Manager. This role supports on-site production of all programs, conferences, evening events, and interdepartmental meetings or events, providing a high level of support and customer service.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Responsible for leading shift coverage of day-to-day operations for program support. Ensure effective communication during shift changes.
· Effectively coordinate and execute room set ups and breakdowns for programs, R & R workshops, Kripalu Schools, Conferences, Internal, Evening and special events.
· Responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of R&R operations within the team, including maintaining file folders and getting supplies ready for workshops.
· Interface directly with presenters, presenter assistants and guests, providing a high level of customer service.
· Assume a leadership role on the team, encouraging staff to be engaged, motivated, and efficient in supporting Kripalu’s mission.
· Work with the Production Manager and Assistant Manager to develop and maintain all departmental systems regarding ordering, receiving, distribution, storage, repair and maintenance of supplies and equipment.
· Assist with the preparation, planning and execution of all department operations.
· General office duties as assigned (i.e. paperwork, record keeping, filing, photocopying, printing)
· Special projects and miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

· Demonstrated ability to work on a fast-paced team
· Strong leadership skills
· Excellent organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail
· Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks efficiently
· Excellent communication and customer service skill; Positive attitude
· Takes initiative and follows through on directed projects
· Must have a driver’s license and pass a background check
MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS
* Associate degree or equivalent
* Intermediate Word, Outlook, and Excel skills
* Some prior experience in leadership role
* Willingness to work evenings and weekends
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Ability to stand up for extended periods of time
· Must be able to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds at a time independently or with assistance on an occasional basis
· Ability to use fine motor skills
· Ability to adapt to changes in temperature due to changing weather conditions
· Ability to bend, stoop, reach, crouch, walk, kneel, push, pull and twist repeatedly
· Ability to tolerate exposure to noise from general environment
