Senior Full Stack Web Developer

This team focuses on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. This position is with one of our clinical product teams within Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure. The application is a web-based point of care solution that enables caregivers to quickly capture their daily documentation through efficient workflows and simplistic UX design. It is currently used in a variety of settings to include Behavioral Health, Long Term Care, and Rehab but we want to go more places!

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong full stack web development background and experience deploying and troubleshooting in the cloud. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work with a team of software engineers responsible for the software design, development, and operations for new and existing products. You should be willing to contribute anywhere within our tech stack and have an eye for clean coding best practices as well. We collaborate frequently, whether it’s through backlog grooming sessions, sprint/quarterly planning, and example mapping sessions. We like to promote a safe place where engineers should be free to speak up with new and exciting ideas, and also not afraid to take risks and learn from their mistakes. Our senior engineers are the people who can work independently and provide technical leadership to the organization. The ideal candidate will be technically strong and productive; someone who knows how to balance speed and quality with iterative and incremental improvements. You understand operational excellence and know how to infuse a culture of being proactive within your team. You recommend and justify major changes to new and existing products and establish consensus with the team. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• High level system design and architectural documentation
• Driving engineering peer/code reviews
• Prototyping/Spiking new functionality for proof of concepts and technical feasibility
• Working with Engineering and Product Management to help create and maintain roadmap

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience
• 5+ years of total experience with software development 
• React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, C#, .NET Core, MVC, Web API, Kubernetes, Docker
• Prior Hands-on experience developing cloud services and tools such as Oracle Cloud, AWS or Azure
• Solid experience with SQL in database design, developing stored procedure, views, joins, triggers, and various queries and optimizing performance
• Strong experience with Github
• Systematic problem-solving approach, strong communication skills, a sense of ownership and drive responsibilities listed in the job description

• Experience in working CI/CD pipeline with setting up build and deployment pipelines
