General Summary
As an Associate Software Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and supporting many of the sites and services that power our web and mobile products. You will develop, test, release, and maintain your work with guidance and mentorship from more experienced engineers. All team members must be flexible and adaptable to changing customer and organizational needs.
You are a continuous learner with a hunger for knowledge. You approach challenges as opportunities to improve. You value team members’ input from all levels and you actively seek ways to support your colleagues.
You will sit directly with the Engineering Team, work in close collaboration with the Product, Design, and Customer Service teams, and report to the Manager, Engineering.
Core Functions:
- Assist with creating new features and fixing bugs
- Collaborate with other Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, and QA to deliver delightful user experiences
- Follow existing architectural and coding patterns with a high attention to detail
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience working on software applications or websites
- Experience with frontend technologies like React, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, Redux, NextJS and CSS
- Familiarity with backend technologies like C# and Ruby
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test driven development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement of yourself and your team

Compensation:
Peaksware/MakeMusic is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Colorado is $66,691 - $111,151. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
This role is eligible for variable compensation, including bonus.
