The Opportunity:
The Production Operator position involves the manufacture and packaging of pre-mixed assay and refining fluxes for sale to the mining and commercial assay laboratory markets. Candidates must live within the Sparks, Nevada area.What we’re looking for:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Has experience in Mining/Lab(s) or Mixing Assay Flux.
Collaboration Tool: Forklift Certification, Security Awareness Training, Hazardous Materials Handing training - as required when fulfilling "Warehouse - Shipping & Receiving" duties.

Composes and affixes product labels to products
Operates forklift, hand truck and pallet jack for the safe loading of flux components into mixer(s) and the safe placement and maneuvering of products within the flux farm area and/or other areas of the main warehouse for shipment.
Ventilation System Operation: Uses ventilation system for loading and dispensing of product from the flux mixers. Operates compressor for daily blow-down and periodic dumping of particulate collected in the bag house for recirculation into the flux manufacturing circuit.
Mixer Loading and Mixing Operation, as per batch sheet instructions.
Prepares packaging.
Mixer unloading - dispensing.
Palletize and Inventory
General Warehousing Tasks
Reports security and/or health and safety infractions or potential infractions in a timely manner and to the appropriate contacts.
Performs other related tasks that their supervisor deems vital for the efficient operation of the department.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is exposed to an industrial warehouse environment. The associate works near moving mechanical machinery and noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The job requires working in heights, exposure to changes in temperature, driving equipment, and may be exposed to dust, fume, or gases.
The associate is required to stand and walk for the majority of the working day. The physical requirements of the job are for associates to talk, hear, bend/stoop, squat, crawl, climb height, reach above shoulder height, crouch, kneel, balance, and push/pull. Furthermore, the job requires associates to lift/carry/push or pull up to 75 pounds without assistance. Associates use both hands for repetitive actions such as grasping and manipulation as well as both feet for repetitive movement operation foot controls. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
