We are seeking Software Engineers to provide the government with support as part of a Naval Software Factory to develop next generation software systems. This position provides the opportunity to help define the next generation of Naval systems and help develop the Navy's new approach to modern software development. Additionally, gone are the days of boring labs, candidates accepted for this position will be able to work at the newest Naval Software Factory floor modeled after commercial co-working spaces. Work requires on-site presence with option to go remote after on-boarding period.

This position is open to engineers of all experience levels!

Requirements

• BS or BA degree in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Excellent interpersonal collaborative skills with excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Experience working with Java and/or Javascript.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in an agile environment.
• An active Secret clearance.

Preferred:

• Experience working with C4ISR.
• Familiarity with professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, agile development, build processes, testing and operations.
• Experience with Docker containers.
• Experience with Gitlab.
