The Global Payments team provides professional payment solutions with the smooth functioning of payment channels to all global businesses of ByteDance to support the expansion and growth of ByteDance’s global businesses.

At ByteDance, we are dedicated to transforming the way people experience insurance. We are looking for an experienced Insurance Product Manager to join our dynamic team and help design and manage innovative insurance product solutions that meet customer needs and align with our strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Design and develop insurance products from concept to launch, enable Insurance Sales & Claim in TikTok shop e-commerce platform, focusing on enhancing user/sellers experience, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to understand consumer behavior, industry trends, and competitor strategies, using insights to inform product development.
- Feature Development: Define, prioritize, and manage the development of platform features, such as promotion capability, product recommendations, flexible pricing and checkout processes.
- Data-Driven Insights: Use data analytics to monitor product performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and drive decision-making. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
- User Experience Optimization: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create seamless, engaging, and intuitive shopping experiences that address user pain points and drive customer retention.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the organization, including technology, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless product delivery and customer experience.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, specifically within an e-commerce industry, or insurance product management or a related role. Experience with large-scale e-commerce platforms or marketplaces is preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in using data to drive decisions. Proficiency in using tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: A deep understanding of e-commerce user behavior and a passion for creating solutions that delight customers.
- Experience with end-to-end product management processes, including idea generation, roadmap development, feature prioritization, and launch.
- Good understanding of Ecommerce and insurance industries.
- Strong research, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, analytical skills, communication skills, self-driven, and quick-learner
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees or insurance certifications are a plus.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $165120 - $414000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
