We are a team of sales excellence professionals who are part of commercial excellence, which is a key ingredient in the Demant growth strategy through supporting sales subsidiaries in enhancing their commercial impact. We belong to the international sales organization, who we share office space with, which creates a great working environment with a lot of knowledge sharing close by.

We are located at Demant’s global head quarter in Smørum 20 km outside Copenhagen. Demant is a global player within hearing aids and related products, and we are responsible for hearing care products from brands such as Oticon, Philips and Interacoustics.

 

The position

As our new commercial excellence manager, your responsibility will be to work closely with our sales subsidiaries across the world to manage projects with key markets, support change management and anchor new best practices into daily life. To thrive in the role, you need to be able to identify opportunities based on insights and facts, combined with the skills to build a close collaboration with both global and local colleagues.

Key responsibilities areas

  • Manage local and global sales excellence projects
  • Engage in project deliverables – performing numerical analysis and creating communication materials in a simple and engaging manner
  • Build relationships and support sales subsidiaries as country liaison on commercial excellence related subjects (segmentation, targeting, key account management, local launch execution, sales management etc.)
  • Promote knowledge sharing and share best practices within our sales communities
  • Lead change management initiatives to optimize processes across sales subsidiaries

 You should expect approximately 30-40 travel days a year.

 

Are you our new colleague?

You have a master’s degree in business, management, strategy, finance, economics, or alike and experience from a similar position or from a management consultancy. You have experience in facilitating decision processes through delivery of insights, business cases, discussion documents, and workshop facilitation. We are looking for a colleague with a positive customer-centric mindset, a can-do attitude, and we expect that you work well both individually and as part of a team.

The optimal candidate can checkmark most of the following:

  • Master’s degree in business, management, strategy, finance, economics, or similar completed with honors
  • 2-3 years’ experience from a similar position in commercial excellence or management consulting
  • High proficiency in Excel for effective data analysis, with strong ability to craft clear, compelling stories in PowerPoint and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders
  • A skilled communicator with effective stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience with medical device, pharma, or life science industries is beneficial but not required
