About the role

Company Overview

Docusign brings agreements to life. Over 1.5 million customers and more than a billion people in over 180 countries use Docusign solutions to accelerate the process of doing business and simplify people’s lives. With intelligent agreement management, Docusign unleashes business-critical data that is trapped inside of documents. Until now, these were disconnected from business systems of record, costing businesses time, money, and opportunity. Using Docusign’s Intelligent Agreement Management platform, companies can create, commit, and manage agreements with solutions created by the #1 company in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM).

What you'll do

Growth at Docusign is evolving from manually orchestrated campaigns to autonomous, AI‑driven customer journeys. As an AI GTM Engineer on the Growth team, you’ll apply an engineering mindset to build AI‑powered workflows, agents, and tooling that make Marketing and Growth teams radically more efficient and effective. You’ll partner with Lifecycle Marketing, Campaign Operations, Performance Marketing, PLG, and Data Science to turn briefs and data into automated journeys, experiments, and insights.

You will accelerate high‑impact AI use cases across Marketing and Growth so teams can do more with less manual work, from faster campaign builds to smarter targeting and experimentation, transform manual, fragmented workflows into AI‑augmented systems that improve both efficiency (time saved) and effectiveness (lift in activation, retention, and revenue) and establish the patterns, tooling, and data foundations that make AI a reliable, everyday part of how Growth operates.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Director, Growth Analytics.

Responsibility

  • Design and implement end‑to‑end AI workflows that power core Growth use cases (e.g., lifecycle/email, in‑product prompts, performance marketing, winback, onboarding, experimentation)

  • Turn loosely defined business goals and briefs into concrete, agent‑powered flows: from data ingestion and grounding through orchestration logic to user‑facing surfaces (email, in‑product, ads, sales handoffs)

  • Build internal tools and Agentic User Interfaces (AGUI) that let marketers and operators configure, monitor, and iterate on AI‑driven journeys without needing a developer for every change

  • Partner with marketers and analysts to prototype quickly and run experiments using AI‑powered MVPs, measuring impact on conversion, engagement, retention, revenue, and LTV

  • Drive change management and enablement, working hand in hand with business stakeholders to evolve their day‑to‑day processes and deeply adopt AI‑powered tools

  • Coach marketers and other business stakeholders on how to maintain, upgrade, and improve AI workflows so teams become increasingly self‑sufficient over time

  • Partner with IT, Data Engineering, and platform teams to identify gaps and opportunities in data access, tooling, and foundational capabilities across use cases

  • Document patterns, reusable components, and learnings so that successes can be replicated across teams and inform investments in data foundations and AI capabilities

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

  • Experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, or similar)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
