Technician I, Quality Assurance, MV2 (4am-1pm)

QA Tech

MUST BE 18 YEARS OLD AND CURRENTLY NOT ENROLLED IN HIGH SCHOOL

“This role will require extended hours based on production needs, including work to be performed after regular business hours and on weekends.”

Primary Function:

Ensure the packaging of quality Snack Food products through testing and analysis of product and packaging.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Gather samples to perform weight, moisture, salometer and ph checks on product
2. Complete all quality control paperwork and forward to appropriate recipients
3. Check packaging for integrity of seals, dates, vacuum, and proper caddie and case counts
4. Communicate with PMO and supervisor on quality issues
5. Keep work area clean and organized
6. Follow GMP/HAACP procedures
7. Pre-operational sanitation inspections daily
8. Assist with other tasks as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Knowledge of common QC techniques and procedures
2. Intermediate level math and writing skills
3. Intermediate level communication skills
4. Ability to test and read scales
5. Ability to neatly and accurately complete paperwork
6. Ability to work independently and as a team
7. Strong organizational skills

Materials and Equipment:

1. Calculator
2. Read ruler

Work Environment:

1. Stand on concrete
2. Ambient temperatures

Physical Requirements:

1. Hand/eye coordination
2. Walk/stand 100% of shift

1. Safety shoes as needed
