As a communications professional, you know how to inform and engage key audiences and help promote an organization’s desired reputation. We’re looking for a communications specialist like you, who is ready to grow and willing to win for the client and live our mission every day. Here, you’ll grow your consulting skills to design, develop, produce, and consult on a variety of internal and external communication materials and media that support our nation's climate and infrastructure organizations.

As a communications specialist on our team, you’ll closely impact the development of creative solutions to complex problems. Your self-guided yet collaborative spirit will shape and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to develop and strategic plans and communication materials. 

As a collaborator on all aspects of oral and written communications, you’ll create strategic plans, proposals, marketing collateral, presentations, and more. Your creative-thinking and business-oriented mindset will guide your client to inform key audiences through words and images.

You Have:   

  • Experience in a marketing, communication, or advertising role   

  • Experience working with a cross-functional team  

  • Experience with knowledge management and cloud-based document management

  • Ability to create strategic communication collateral

  • Ability to align business objectives to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and depict these relationships visually and in writing

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Advertising, or Marketing  

Nice If You Have:   

  • Experience with event planning   

  • Experience with scheduling, purchasing, and invoicing  

  • Knowledge of federal government contracting and proposal processes
