This position functions as a Finishing Support / Make-Ready team member. As a Finishing Support / Make-Ready team member they will be responsible for

 

  • Make Readies
  • New Carton Evaluation
  • Advanced Leary and Gluer Troubleshooting
  • Evaluate customer complaints by determining the corrective actions.
  • Advanced Domino code and case printer’s procedures and the capability to diagnose issues.
  • Computer skills in Excel, Word, Microsoft Office,
  • Code / Promotional Management
  • Training Operators and Leads in finishing area of Safety, Quality and Production procedures.
  • Creates purchase requisitions and enter work order notifications as needed.
  • Manage Domino Ink Inventory
  • Complete Finishing Area process improvement projects.
  • Collaborative problem solving

 

 

): Selection Criteria (minimum requirements for applicant consideration

 

  • Candidates must have completed 6 months of “active” service unless they are the only internal candidate.
  • Successful candidate must not be under current discipline for unacceptable performance or behavior. 
  • If you have transferred to a new position based on the Internal Selection Process, you are not eligible to post for another internal position until you have been in your current position for 6 months. 
  • Successfully demonstrated skills as a Gluer Operator and a Lead Gluer Operator.
  • Prefer candidate with previous make-ready/change-over and Leary troubleshooting experience
  • Good computer skills.
  • Good written/oral communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and deadlines.
  • Works well as a team member.  Willing to help others.  Good interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to work flexible schedule based on production schedule. This includes being called in on off-shifts and weekends to assist in troubleshooting and perform make readies and lineouts of gluers
  • Basic SAP knowledge including Schedule and Notifications
