Job Description
PURPOSE As a Machine Operator, you will remove product from the production line, inspect it to the customer’s specifications and pack into designated cartons. RESPONSIBILITIES • Adheres to safety policies and procedures in compliance with company guidelines including wearing mandatory PPE in production areas. • Review production orders and reports discrepancies of product specifications to line Foreman. • Remove finished product from winders and places it on scales to verify weight. Band cartons/product to skid for shipment. • Places identification labels on product or skids and keeps records or generates tally sheets as required, and complies with established packing plans and procedures. • Ensures that quality is in accordance with work order specifications. • Responsible for personal and overall safety, quality of packaging, careful damage free handling, and housekeeping. 2 • Responsible for adhering to and executing the applicable Environmental Health & Safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for all employees according to Amcor, local, state, and federal requirementregulations.
