Job Overview

 

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Part-time Dietary Technician. 

 

Responsibilities

Responsible for screening of all patients admitted to the inpatient units, the processing of patient menus consistent with currentnutritional principles which includes menu distribution, processing, and modified menus according to patterns established by thedietitian. Set-up trays for patient food service following individual menus. Responsible for cleanliness of work area and for safeand sanitary handling of food, equipment, and supplies. Will have clerical/administrative, clinical and food prep duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications

High School / GED required. Minimum one year related experience, preferably in a hospital or health care setting. Food Service Sanitation Certificate required.
