THE JOB:

Joining MGM as a Banquet Cook offers an exciting opportunity to apply your culinary expertise with skill and precision while playing a key role in shaping memorable guest experiences through warm, personalized service. Your welcoming smile and attentive approach will set the tone for an exceptional event, and by understanding each guest's unique story and needs, you will own their experience, creating WOW moments that leave lasting impressions beyond their stay.

THE STARTING RATE: $21.30 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Maintain solid knowledge of food products and skillfully apply culinary techniques
• Identify and safely use kitchen equipment
• Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service
• Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
• Maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation
• Assist kitchen leadership and staff in execution of service
• Maintain solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces, stocks and soups
• Work as a team, assist all guests' needs and inquiries

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Preferred 1+ years of prior relevant experience as a cook

Pay Rate

The rate for this role is:

$21.30

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
