PURPOSE:
This role will provide crucial support for the Reading site and greater organization. They will focus on:
- Operation and Q&FS record review and logging.
- Operation and Q&FS data entry and analysis.
- pladis documentation and recording keeping alignment activities.
- pladis supplier and ingredient compliance documentation gathering.
The incumbent will interact with: pladis suppliers, Reading site Operations, and internal Q&FS personnel.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & DELIVERABLES:
At the direction of the Sr. Manager External Quality & Food Safety, the incumbent will:
- Contact pladis suppliers and acquire updated compliance documentation.
- Organize supplier documentation in pladis’ documentation management system.
- Review, log, and compile data as it pertains to Q&FS activities at the Reading site.
- Use various computer systems for data input and basic analysis.
- Communicate results to key functional groups.
- Assist the Q&FS manager with project work, record review, and support of monthly routine inspections.
- Monitor and record product weights, quality, and sensory as part of daily product showing.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and document management skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to positively interact and clearly communicate with individuals at different levels across the organization.
- Decision making and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
- Knowledge of SAP
- Knowledge of D365
