Supervise assigned custodial personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Train employees in proper cleaning techniques for safety, efficiency, and quality performance. This position requires satisfactory working knowledge in all key areas of building maintenance, including restrooms, office, hard floors, carpet care, cleaning, and sanitation. 
Experience in equipment operation and essential preventative maintenance.
Chemical knowledge of cleaning products. Ability to read and interpret SDS and OSHA safety sheets.
Maintaining adequate inventory levels of supplies is always required to perform custodial services successfully.
Maintain effective communication with the Managers, supervisors, lead workers, and Goodwill staff.
Prepare bi-weekly payroll for employee compensation.
Evaluate employees' work performance and ensure that Goodwill Industries' quality standards are met per safety guidelines and job descriptions.
All other duties as assigned.
QualificationsEducation and Experience:

Requires a thorough knowledge of the Custodial/janitorial industry. 
Strong interpersonal skills.  This knowledge is usually gained through employment in the specific field of specialization and successful completion of a high school / Technical school.
A combination of 2-3 or more years of experience in the specialized area with a minimum of 6 months in a supervisory capacity will be required to perform the responsibilities of this position.

Certificates/Licenses: A technical certificate in Custodial Cleaning is preferred.
