The Software Engineer codes software applications based on business requirements. The Software Engineer work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

The Software Engineer standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software. Oversees testing and debugging and develops fixes. Research complaints and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Make decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follow established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and relevant work history in lieu of degree requirement.

• 5+ years in software development (Java, React, JavaScript).

• 3+ years with ForgeRock (Ping Identity) Identity Platform components.  Experience configuring and optimizing AM authentication trees.

• Experience integrating ForgeRock components with Splunk logging tools.

• Strong leadership experience mentoring software developers.

• Deep knowledge of IAM concepts, including design and migration.

• Experience with OAuth2.0, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile methodologies.

• Strong familiarity with authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OIDC, SAML, LDAP, AD).   Experience implementing grant types.

• Strong communication skills for presenting demos and pitching solutions.

• API Development, ForgeRock Identity Management, IAM, Java, .Net, JavaScript

• Ping Identity, SDLC, Technical Leadership, Azure DevOps, Git, RESTful APIs

• Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Excellent communication skills in a high-stress environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree

• WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.

• A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.  

• Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.

• A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

 

$80,900 - $110,300 per year

 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
