Summary of Job Duties:
The Director of Operations for the Institute for Digital Health & Innovation (IDHI) provides strategic and operational leadership for the Brain Injury Program (BIP), which is funded through state and federal sources. This position oversees program growth and success in clinical, research, and educational initiatives focused on the care of post-acute brain injury patients.Key responsibilities include directing program priorities, ensuring compliance with funding requirements, mentoring a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, and serving as principal investigator for applicable grants. The Director provides guidance in research design, data analysis, and quality reporting, leading efforts to improve rehabilitative care outcomes. The role includes oversight of statewide advisory committees, representation at the Arkansas Trauma Advisory Committee’s Rehabilitation Subcommittee, and partnership with UAMS faculty, external stakeholders, funding agencies, and advocacy groups.
The Director is also responsible for leading research contributions and publications, coordinating communication with clinical and research collaborators, and supporting program evaluation and continuous improvement. This position is primarily remote with some on-campu
