Position type: Hourly

Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals is hiring a 2nd shift Production Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of press operations and ability to work in a hot environment. The candidate will need to be flexible and willing to learn different machines and positions. This position will train on days before being moved to 2nd shift.

Responsibilities and Duties (include but are not limited to):
•    Review material/equipment requirements as designated by the job's specs
•    Must be able to use or be trained to use calipers, micrometers, tape measure as well as scales to weight parts.
•    Perform in-process inspection and regular spot checks of pressed parts per instructions
•   Attention to detail
•    Be organized and clean at workstation 

Qualifications:
•    High school diploma or GED equivalent 
•    Solid basic mathematics skills and reading comprehension
•    1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

•  1 or more years’ experience in a sintering, heat treating, or industrial baking environment - Preferred
