Job Summary:

Provides administrative support to the Director of Child Development, Site Directors, staff, parents and students. Collaborates with families and the community to inform decision-making and assure high quality early childhood education - Maintaining a rating of Tier 5. Oversees and ensures compliance with all high-quality educational components and standards as required by county, state, and federal entities. 


SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Leadership And Strategy: 
  • Assist the Director of Child Development in supporting and training the Site Directors to ensure high quality services are delivered in all programs and age groups.
  • Assist the Director of Child Development with data collection and submittal for annul CSPP/CCTR Program Self-Evaluation.  
  • Develop and implement ongoing Quality Assurance monitoring for all departments/service areas. 
  • Lead and manage multiple teams to ensure compliance in identified service areas. 
  • Coordinate and facilitate company wide trainings, interdepartmental meetings, and annual trainings as outlined in the agency calendar. 

Project Management:

  • Create and implement systems of efficiency related to collection of compliance data and provide technical support and assistance through monitoring and ensuring compliance with state licensing requirements, state regulations, federal performance standards and all other contract and related services provided by Children’s Paradise.
  • Coordinate and facilitate Teaching Pyramid Leadership Meetings with SDQPI.
  • Support on-boarding and staff training by coordinating and creating/implementing training plans that support all department areas as needed.
  • Plan and coordinate PLC's to support training needs, topics, and trends.
  • Support creation, maintenance and updating of department Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Support and lead various company initiatives as needed/as assigned.
  • Review, streamline and update policies and procedures to align with contract requirements.
  • Actively support in establishing new site/ acquired site operations to include material and supply purchases, training, implementing licensing and state regulations.

Technical Leadership:

  • Direct oversight of Children’s Paradise programs, to ensure high quality services are provided, including CCTR, CSPP, and CCL requirements.
  • Support site needs regarding staff needs, staff complaints, and parent complaints.
  • Create and train on the policies and procedures of the compliance requirements.
  • Lead and provide oversight to data team including monitoring, training, and creation/update of modules in data systems such as ChildPlus.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with requirements/data documentation/and report submittal.
  • Support site needs in regard to staffing plans, health and safety needs, areas of concern, education requirements, compliance requirements; including director level coaching and training.
  • Coaches, counsels, and mentors site staff and management staff for improved performance.
  • Track and monitor Community Care Licensing visits in ChildPlus including review of Unusual Incident Reports and submittal of timely Plans of Correction when required. Support tracking, writing, and submittal of citation appeals. Site support during CCL visits, to include professional communication with CCL analysts and investigators.
  • Conducts site and quality assurance visits and regularly consults with and provides direction to Site Directors on quality assurance, planning, safety, and employee relations and parent involvement issues.
