THE JOB:

As a Gourmet Food Runner at Sadelle's, you will be an essential part of an unforgettable dining experience, where breakfast, brunch, and lunch come to life against the stunning backdrop of Bellagio's Conservatory & Botanical Gardens. Our café is renowned for its delicious signature dishes, such as Eggs Benedict, Sticky Buns, and Chopped Salads, and your role will be to ensure that each guest enjoys every bite of their meal. In this fast-paced position, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding service by efficiently serving customer orders and maintaining tables to create a welcoming atmosphere. Your dedication to exceeding guest satisfaction at every opportunity will help craft memorable dining experiences that our guests will cherish. Additionally, you will handle general cleaning and perform essential side duties, ensuring that our service runs smoothly and seamlessly.

THE STARTING RATE: $14.5047 hourly + tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Welcome guests with a warm and relevant greeting, utilize your knowledge of menu, guest preference, service and selling techniques to guide selections

• Knowledgeable of all menu items, prices, preparation method and time, major ingredients and quality standards of taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, portion size, garnish and method of presentation

• Be familiar with all hotel services, features and local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately

• Maintain table cleanliness and utilize a silent service approach

• Itemize bill correctly and efficiently secure payment

• Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency

• Work as a team, assist guest and employee needs and inquiries

• Successful completion of Restaurant Training Program and testing is required

• Perform other job-related duties as requested

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

• Experience working in a similar gourmet restaurant preferred
