Job Description

AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Project Director to join our team supporting a growing and thriving Mission Critical Construction Practice based in Dallas, TX.

Job Summary:

  • Responsible for client/project development, resource management, and supervision of construction activities as they relate to contract administration and management of scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management.
  • Responsible for overall project performance including job profit and loss for Construction projects.
  • Plans, schedules, and coordinates projects to repair, alter and renovate building structure and installed equipment, and supervise a multi-disciplined construction workforce performing work on multiple projects simultaneously.

 

The job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Directs and managers the entire project, guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
  • Accountable for all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
  • Overall responsibility and management of project including but not limited to pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, through contract closeout.
  • Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project.
  • Coordination and integration of multi-disciple project functions including but not limited to construction, project controls, quality, and commercial administration in a manner to meet project operational and business objectives.
  • Responsible to establish a culture of safe work performance.
  • Actively engaged in developing and managing client relations.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS + 10 years of construction management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experienced construction professional in electrical, mechanical, telecom, technology or mission critical environments. 
  • Previous experience supporting large scale Mission Critical projects
  • Experienced MEP construction management experience.
  • Experience supporting ground-up projects
  • Previous experience managing construction projects exceeding $ 100 mil.
