Dashi Rivers, a member of the Kennedy Care family of companies, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The Lead RBT will play a critical role in overseeing the implementation of individualized behavior plans, ensuring high-quality support for clients and the team of BTs and RBTs under their supervision. Engaging in a wide range of activities, the Lead RBT will be focused on providing resources, coaching, and mentorship to fellow Behavior Technicians(BT) in both center-based and in-home settings, ensuring consistent quality of care and guidance across all environments. This role involves direct work with clients, mentoring BTs and RBTs, and collaborating with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to maintain and enhance the effectiveness of behavioral plans.

Essential Functions:

  • Conduct meetings with Behavior Technicians (BT) during their initial 6 months of employment to discuss topics such as RBT certification, note taking, data collection, professionalism, interpersonal skills, and ABA knowledge.?
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of BTs and RBTs, in both center-based and in-home settings, ensuring adherence to behavior intervention plans and to allow them to meet company performance standards.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with RBTs to review client progress, address concerns, and offer strategies for improvement.
  • Conduct research to support and help problem-solve questions and areas of need.
  • Assist in training new BTs and RBTs, providing hands-on support and feedback
  • Provide direct ABA therapy services to clients as directed by supervisor, modeling best practices for other RBTs.
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as designed by the BCBA.
  • Collect and analyze data on client behaviors, making adjustments as necessary in collaboration with the BCBA.
  • Work closely with the BCBA to review client progress, discuss potential modifications to intervention plans, and address any challenges.
  • Maintain open communication with families and other professionals involved in the client’s care.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development and refinement of behavior plans and strategies.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of client progress and any incidents or significant behavioral changes.
  • Review RBT documentation for consistency and compliance with company standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Compensation:

  • This position includes a $1 per hour increase in pay, reflecting the additional responsibilities and leadership role.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. (Required)
  • Certification as Registered Behavior Tech
