The Job:
As a Senior Finance Manager, you’ll be part of our Tools & Outdoor Global Product & Brand team working as a hybrid employee. You’ll get to:
- Lead the financial strategy, plan and analysis for the CRAFTMSAN P&L and working capital.
- Provide financial guidance and strategic partnership for the management of the product categories and partner with CRAFTSMAN Leadership to drive financial performance and process excellence.
- Evaluate financial potential of New Product Development (NPD) programs using Return on Capital (ROC) models, prioritize investments based on NPV.
- Financially Lead the Strategic Plan, the Annual Operating Plan, Quarterly Forecasts and leverage data and analytics to provide guidance on driving growth and profitability.
- Effectively manage multiple priorities within a broad team of cross-regional and cross-functional team members partnering closely with FP&A, category, product, marketing, commercial and engineering.
- Drive process improvements to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.
- Lead & support critical business rhythms for product, bringing data and insights to ensure projects are delivered on time, on quality, and on budget.
- Leverage and act on strategic insights and analysis to drive business growth & profitability.
The Person:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related degree. CPA, CMA and/or MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of relevant financial work experience, with a focus on product development and brand strategy.
- Demonstrated experience growing, developing, and managing a high-performing team throughout periods of high change.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to develop and maintain financial models.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution along with critical thinking, strong analytic, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem solving and process improvement capabilities.
- Strong cross functional leadership skills and experience driving change in a matrixed environment.
- High business acumen and increased collaboration with both functional and business leaders.
- The ability to quickly assess the operational efficiency of a functional group or process and prioritize improvement processes.
- Experience in consumer goods or retail industry a plus.
