ManTech is seeking a Marketing and Communications Director to join our team and thriving culture to assist in growing new business by driving marketing campaigns and communication initiatives in support of ManTech’s Digital Transformation Division (DTD).
ManTech is seeking an experienced, senior communications professional to create and implement marketing and communications strategies that elevates ManTech’s high-tech, high-end engineering and emerging tech innovation and capabilities with current and future government customers as well as engage and influence the industry positioning ManTech as the go-to partner to solve their current and future mission needs.
As our company continues to grow, we seek a senior professional who can identify and support new ways to reach our customers and equip the DTD team to elevate their capabilities and offerings as trusted advisors to advance ManTech’s consulting practice brand industrywide.
Applicants should be excited about developing and implementing plans to engage target audiences and spread the message about topics ranging from high-tech, high-end engineering and emerging tech capabilities to consulting practices, company news. The ideal candidate should have a track record of success in the government contracting sector as a communications and marketing expert with excellent written and verbal communication skills while also a passion for leveraging digital technology to expand the reach of company messaging to the workforce.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Serves as a senior practitioner on the Enterprise Marketing & Communications team supporting our Digital Transformation Division (DTD).
Marketing Campaigns & Communications
o Creates and manages marketing plans as well as collateral material to create brand awareness for DTD’s solution offerings
o Assists DTD growth team and Practice/Portfolio leaders in planning social media campaigns to promote the organization's capabilities, services and solution offerings.
o Develops new marketing material for DTD marketing campaigns including social media, trade shows/conferences, websites, and other online or published venues in collaboration with MARCOM team colleagues supporting campaigns for Defense, Intel and Federal Civilian Sectors.
o Conducts detailed return-on-investment analyses of marketing campaign results, customer demographics, and market conditions to optimize marketing strategies.
o Provides customer and competitor analysis and insight to assist marketing and strategy development.
o Design and execute advertising Campaigns targeting key Stakeholders (e.g. Source Selection Committee)
Opportunity Capture
o Work with Capture Manager to design and execute advertising Campaigns targeting key Stakeholders
o Work with Capture Manager and Director Talent Acquisition & Resource Management to design and execute advertising Campaigns to support Recruiting / Incumbent Capture
Events
o Engage Trade Show MARCOM lead to coordinate Industry Event Management per defined process, emphasis on:
o Support ManTech/DTD speakers at industry events and secure speaking engagements or speaker sponsorships to increase ManTech Subject Matter Experts visibility in the industry
Brand/Collateral Updates
o Coordinate with MarCom design team on brand adherence.
o Support semi-annual update of all DTD-specific marketing collateral (e.g. capabilities briefings, 1-page slick sheets, etc..)
Communications
o Generates ideas and strategies to promote the organization's mission through social media.
o Develops and manages social media campaigns for the organization.
o Engages with PR MARCOM lead to develop news releases, story pitches, media contact cultivation. elevate DTD media coverage.
o Writes and engages with digital media MARCOM lead for social media and website publishing.
o Support preparation and coordination of weekly “News Beat” meeting agendas and content
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant work experience
Experience performing marketing and communications for Government contracting firm(s)
