Are you a leader? A Business Development Specialist would be responsible for maintaining the customer base and increasing profitability for the Enbridge GTM assets in the Southern Region, specifically Louisiana and select parts of Texas. Manage all activities relating to existing business relationship management and new business development through the review, evaluation, contract negotiation and approval processes, including the coordination of operational requirements and back office support, assuring corporate criteria for capital investment have been properly measured and achieved
What You Will Do:
Supports commercial origination strategy for Enbridge GTM assets in the Southern Region, specifically Louisiana and select parts of Texas
Support (and lead) sourcing and developing projects with capital investments in the hundreds of millions or billions of dollars with similarly scaled EBITDA expectations.
Develops and maintains communication with existing customers to retain and assess additional investment opportunities and contract renewals which align with the Company’s strategy.
Incremental (and existing) customer business generation through the identification of optimization opportunities and new expansion project development, including assisting in M&A strategy.
Conducts and/or supports the direct negotiations with existing and prospective customers and gathers supporting department support throughout entire negotiation cycle for full due diligence activities.
Identify, conceptualize, and qualify growth projects for onshore gas working closely with customers and partners as well as internal technical, legal, and regulatory resources.
Resolves issues that might arise relating to revenue billing; nominations and scheduling; credit; operations; rates and certificates and other commercial issues.
Market development opportunities to prospective customers, developing and managing processes where applicable and negotiating terms with customers and partners.
Maintain working knowledge of commercial operations, customer, and competitive landscape for Enbridge’s gas markets.
Relationship and consensus building across several internal departments, including but not limited to – Regulatory, Legal, Engineering, System Planning, Capacity Services, Project Development, Economic Evaluation, Marketing, Contracts, Commercial Operations and Field Operations.
Conducts post-mortem review of unsuccessful efforts and records outcomes to assess competitiveness in the market.
Supports the Manager, Business Development Louisiana Onshore in the development of strategic planning and initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Required:
University undergraduate degree
A minimum of seven (7) or more years of directly related experience
Preferred:
Engineering or business undergraduate
