Overview
The Regional Head of Field Operations plays a critical role at CommerceHub to ensure the global GTM Strategy and Operations Process is established and consistent in region. This critical role will be the right hand of Regional Sales Leadership and will work to drive team adoption and alignment with the GTM Strategy and growth targets. The Regional Head of Field Operations will report to the VP of Global Sales Operations. They will be responsible to drive and oversee activities needed for the development, implementation, communication, and administration of all Sales Ops related activities in region with the support of the Global Operations function. The Head of Regional Field Ops leader will analyze sales performance and trends, prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for sales leadership, participate in strategic and annual planning, and lead the preparation of strategic business planning and expansion planning in region.
- Be a core part of the Go-To-Market Leadership team in the Americas region, tasked with managing a data-driven framework to help guide the direction of our organization.
- Be a leader and linchpin to drive GTM strategies, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure sales, marketing, and customer experience processes are efficient, aligned, and following best practices.
- Support Regional Management around pricing, deal structure, and deal margin and represent the Regional Sales Leadership on all deal and forecast related calls in the Leader’s absence.
- Support the region in incentive setting and management per guidance from Global Process and Compensation teams.
- Provide sales operational support, including but not limited to funnel targets and reporting, territory management, headcount and capacity management, territory design, account and opportunity management, and rules of engagement decisions. Monitor sales activity and performance reports, including account planning, productivity metrics, territory sales goals and other indicators.
- Support leadership in the understanding of pipeline, forecasts, retention, and other KPIs while bringing best-in-class sales strategy & planning techniques to support leadership in maximizing sales and revenue retention in region.
- Deliver and execute on strategic projects and serve as the primary conduit for cross-functional work for the region’s needs.
- Partner with sales leaders to drive funnel and forecast management support to provide exceptional business predictability and ensure we meet / exceed growth goals.
- Support the Global Renewals sales leadership with forecast management and getting internal stakeholders aligned for material renewals in region.
- Supports the business by collaborating with cross functional teams on new products, sales programs, channel incentives and other initiatives executed within the region.
- Monitor Sales KPIs and develop insights to drive action which optimize resources and decision making.
- Track the pulse of field trends and opportunities as a trusted advisor to the theater and field leaders on business matters.
- Create collaborative relationships with finance and other operations groups creating cross-functional education.
- Partner with Global head of Strategy to identify potential new territories and markets to expand.
- Coordinating sales activities with marketing activities to ensure that both departments are working together to achieve common goals.
- Analyzing data from various sources—including metrics from CRM software, website statistics, call logs, emails, etc.—to identify trends or opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years experience at SaaS company in Sales Operations, Sales Support, and/or client-facing roles
- Must have experience working directly with Sales Leadership
- Experience modeling in Excel
- Highly effective at verbal and written communication
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA preferred
