Senior Android Software Engineer (Kotlin)

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define, implement, and deploy new features
• Identify and resolve issues to optimize application performance and user experience
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in Android development
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to coding standards
• Contribute innovative ideas to enhance application functionality and usability
• Address bugs and continuously improve application performance

 

Required Skills

• 5 + years of proven experience as a Kotlin Developer with a strong portfolio of Android applications
• Architectural Layering composing
• Knowledge of Material design guidelines
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills (not required but beneficial):

• Experience with Java (for legacy code support)
• Experience with REST, GraphQL, SQL
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of CI/CD using Jenkins or similar
