Job Summary:
The Information Security and Systems Administrator is responsible for protecting the organization’s information
assets while ensuring the reliability, performance, and availability of IT systems. This role blends hands-on system
administration with security operations, risk management, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate is
technically strong, security-minded, and capable of balancing operational responsibilities with proactive security
initiatives. This position will report to the Information Security Officer (ISO).

Primary Responsibilities:
The duties listed below are some of the duties that may be assigned and may not include all responsibilities that
the person in this role may be asked to perform.
• Assist ISO in designing, implementing, and maintaining information security safeguards to
protect systems, networks, and data
• Identifies and assists in the planning and management of information security protection
initiatives and projects
• Monitor security alerts, logs, and system activity to identify and respond to threats and incidents
• Support incident response activities, including investigation, containment, remediation, and
documentation
• Assist ISO in managing vulnerability scanning, patch management, and remediation activities
• Support and review bank technologies and vendors, ensuring alignment with company’s security
standards and best practices
• Support the ISO in developing, maintaining, and enforcing security policies, standards, and
procedures
• Support compliance efforts related to regulatory, contractual, or internal security requirements
• Support the ISO in conducting risk assessments and recommending security improvements and
controls
• Provide security guidance and troubleshooting security issues as required
• Support the ISO in providing security awareness guidance and technical support to users and IT
staff
• Manage user access for bank systems
• Onboarding and offboarding employees
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications


Skills and Qualifications:
These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the

and/or ability required to perform the position in a satisfactory manner. Individual abilities may result in some
deviation from these guidelines:

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field; or 5 years information systems/security
experience;
• CompTIA Security+ Certification preferred
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Thorough understanding of information technology and information technology systems and related
regulations

Computer and Office Equipment Skills:
• Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Microsoft Entra administration
• PowerBI
• Management of next-gen anti-virus console
• Core Banking software administration
• Local Active Directory administration
